I’m back.
I haven’t looked at my tumblr in a while—and by “a while” I mean to say that the last pop-culture moment coinciding with my tumbling was an Alexander McQueen wedding dress that single-handedly brought back lace sleeves.

I’m back.
My life will be very interesting over the next 3 months: I will graduate from Colgate University, travel to Europe, move to New York City, and start my first job. I’m hoping that tumblr can become another outlet to seek inspiration as I make these next moves.

Please spread this link around to all you know. Almost one year ago, Jack Harnsongkram and Connor Ausland drowned in a sneaker wave off the Oregon Coast. They were at a retreat for Mr. Axeman, a philanthropic program in Oregon high schools dedicated to raising funds for the Children’s Miracle Network. My younger sister was at said retreat, and I participated in the exact same event two years prior. No words can describe the impact and trauma that this loss had on myself, my family, my friends, and my community.
This video documents Connor’s love for Justin Bieber and shows how his music inspired and united my hometown. The ultimate goal is for this story to reach Justin himself, so spread the word to everyone you know! It doesn’t matter if you think Justin Bieber is a joke, what matters is the deeper meaning behind his music. This isn’t impossible—never say never.
